Birthdays are important, and if you are on this page it's because you think birthday cake is important, no matter your age. Did
you know the tradition of the birthday cake is thought to have started in the 1400's in Germany to celebrate kids birthdays
(Kinderfesten)? Cakes were round and had candles to celebrate each year alive, plus an extra candle to celebrate life to come.
What better way to celebrate a birthday than with birthday cake! Kids birthday, 18th, 21st or other milestone, I'd love to help make it
more special with cake. No birthday or age is too cool for a cake.
As you can see, I'm a buttercream fiend. You won't find any fondant covered cakes here. I do however enjoy experimenting with
fondant, gum paste, wafter paper, rice paper and chocolate to create fun decorations to go on your cake. Just tell me your favourite
colours, or party theme and leave the rest to me!
