A wedding cake is the biggest and most important cake that you will order in your life, and it's likely that you will want all the trimmings that don't usually come on a normal birthday cake. This can include toppers, gold leaf, cookies, cupcakes, floral arrangements (handmade sugar flowers, or silk flowers) and delivery.
When picking a cake maker for your wedding, please check early on that they are council licensed and insured. This is a requirement by many venues, and it's also a matter of food safety and knowing that your maker has completed the required studies and has a good understanding of safe food handling practices.
